ddd by Trenton Henry

ddd (read as three-d) is a command line tool for creating bit mapped fonts, pixel sprites, stencils / sweep templates, gcode, 3D models, etc. It is, in a sense, a sort of front end on top of multiple somewhat disparate tools. It began life as dd (read as two-d), ne' pel, ne' 3deity, which mostly did variations of bitmap font generation.

This sort of command line wrapper around multiple arguably related but actually somewhat different subcommands derives from earlier tools such as sph, which made puffball models for use with puff, primarily for wibble books, and wir, which was a primordeal sort of proto-dd.
